多益單字怎麼準備?

許多考友考多益會面臨字彙量不足的窘境，使得分數總是沒有起色，即使下定決心背單字，總是背著個、忘那個，真是超沮喪。然而，若能認清背單字的常見誤區，及背誦技巧，便可事半功倍，節省大量精力與時間！

背單字誤區 & 破解技巧
1. 從單字書的第一個字背到最後一個:
– 錯在哪? 因大腦短期記憶有限制，很難一次背完幾千個單字，到最後記得的單字沒幾個，徒勞無功。
– 如何破解: 運用單字筆記(記下重點，時時複習)或752法則(7天內5天背新單字，2天複習舊單字)，使大腦從短期記憶移至長期記憶; 也可使用聯想助憶法(搭配場景、圖像化)使單字間產生關連性。

2. 不會整合同義字/近義字/關係詞:
– 錯在哪? 只能一個一個背，而不能有大量地、有系統記憶，甚至不知如何應用，如這個動詞該接甚麼介係詞? 在這個時機用是對的嗎?
– 如何破解: 背單字時也不忘詞語搭配，如這個單字有哪些近似詞? 近似詞中使用上有何差異? 這個動詞接不同介係詞，語意會改變? 這個單字在不同場景可做其他解釋?

3. 分不清一般英文&商用英文:
– 錯在哪? 一般英文不適用TOEIC，因為多益是考商用英文，文章也是以商業詞彙呈現。
– 如何破解: 商用英文雖未必較一般英文難，但在生活中較難實際演練，所以選一本有分場景的單字書特別重要。

4. 認得單字但不會唸:
– 錯在哪? 若遇到聽力題，則可能因遲疑而失分，更可能搞錯整個語意。
– 如何破解: 聽CD跟讀，單字書隨附的CD常有多國口音，是開口練習的好機會!
